ALERT: Numerous edits received to change this to fit Elizabeth E Gregg who died Sep 8 1856 in St. Louis. That Elizabeth Gregg was a 4 month old child.

While several references give death year for this Elizabeth as 1856, no death record found, it is possible that 1856 is the correct year.

Burial this cemetery not proved as no marker found. There are many unmarked graves and broken markers. This was the family cemetery until the Gregg cemetery, now Parker-Gregg was established by son Nathan, on his land a few miles away

RESEARCHING PARENTS, edits welcome.

NOTE: She is often shown as dau of Daniel Boothe (1730-1801) and one of his wives, Priscilla Ruth Tapley (1755-1816), md 1780. Daniel reportedly had multiple marriages and over a dozen children.

From Sons & Daughters of the Pilgrams, Vol II, pg 158, entry #6638 recorded 1949: Daniel Booth 1729-1802 was married to Priscilla Moore and had dau Sylvia Booth 1780- md John L Stone 1812.: . Daniel was son of Zachariah Booth 1694-1762 and Anna Curtis.

From NC Wills & Probate Records 1665-1998, Wills Vol 1-3 1795-1865, DANIEL BOOTHS Mar 2 1801, Orange NC. document is Illegible on-line, these names have been transcribed from the record for Daniel Booths: BOOTH Alphard, Daniel, Gary, John, Mark, Solomon, Tapley, Presley and MOORE John.

From North American Family Histories 1500-2000, DAR Lineage Book: NSDAR Vol 142-1918 Record 141505, Pricilla Booth: Daniel Booth 1929/VA-1802 Orange NC, 1st marriage 1746. Spouse Pricilla 1730-1805 or Mar 2 1801, had son Joseph 1750/VA-1824/Orange NC. Daniel was a private Orange County North Carolina militia (as was son, Joseph).

(this memorial shows him buried in Stratford CT, as are his parents, Zachariah and Anna (Curtis) Booth, all three have markers. The memorial has dates as Feb 6 1723/CT, May 8 1801/CT, and is listed in Abstract of Graves, Revolutionary Patriots. It appears this is the Daniel Booth line named in Sons & Daus of Pilgrams (wife Pricilla Moore), and NOT the Daniel Booth line in Orange NC. It also appears some of the children linked to this Daniel are actually children of the Orange NC Daniel. Elizabeth is not their daughter.

Not Daniel Booth listed in Phillipi WV 51 Abstract of Graves, Revolutionary Patriots. Have not found a listed for N.C.
