Born in Bohemia to Karl and Babette Blum, Married David Pisk and lived in Vienna. They had one son, Carl who emigrated to the US. Ida survived Theresienstadt and moved to Chicago Illinois in 1948 where she lived with her son and his family until her death. In Theresienstadt she was "haus dame" to a member of the Judenrat, which accounts for her survival.
