Nancy Rama Seela came to Texas with her parents in 1855 and married William Wallace Andrews in 1858 or 1859, probably in Parker County, Texas. They were living in Goliad County, Texas in 1860, where their first three children were born. The Andrews returned to Parker County shortly after the war was over. They first settled land on Sanchez Creek near the old Irby Settlement, but because of its unhealthy lowland condition, they later homesteaded land in the upper end of Horseshoe Bend. Nancy Rama and William Wallace Andrews had twelve children.
