Nunzio Tommy "POPE" Ablia

OGDEN/GARLAND – Our beloved husband, father, son, friend and uncle passed away on January 30. 2004 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Pope was born March 3, 1981, In Ogden, Utah to Tommy Ablia and Connie Tanner. The attack on the Twin Towers on September 11, 2001, did not stop him from marrying the love of his life, Brittani Olesen. Pope enjoyed playing in pool tournaments with his dad Tommy and fishing with his brother-in-law Brandon; but most of all he enjoyed being a "daddy" to his two beautiful daughters. Pope will be missed by all those he leaves behind who were close to him and his daughters will miss their daddy forever.

Pope was a loving father and husband and always made sure his family was well Provided for Pope is survived by his wife Brittani Olesen Ablia, who is currently recovering from serious injuries sustained in the same accident; and his two beautiful daughters, Abbriella Ablia, 2 years and Sierra "CeCe' Ablia' 16 months. Also surviving are his father, Tommy Ablia, sisters Michelle Ablia and Lateasha Garcia, Stevie Ray Ablia, all of Ogden; niece, Yazmen Ablia of Ogden: mother-in-law Sue Olesen, sister-in-law Amanda Cragun brother-in-law Brandon Olesen all of Garland. Utah: father-in-law, Brett Thomas Olesen, Spokane, Washington; grandmothers, Barbara Ablia, Ely, Nevada: Janice Tanner, Cedar City; and many uncles, aunts and cousins.

Pope was preceded in death by his mother Connie Tanner in March 2003; and two grandfathers, Tommy A. Ablia and Dean Tanner.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary Chapel in Ogden. 845 Washington BIvd. where friends may call on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 12 to 12:45 p.m.

Interment, Myers Evergreen Memorial Park.
