Bruce Allen Spencer, 37, of Springfield died at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at St. John's Hospital. He was born Oct. 28, 1956, in Springfield, the son of Delores M. and Horace Spencer Sr. Preceding him in death were his father, Horace Spencer Sr.; a grandfather, Lawrence "Tuffy" Brown Sr.; an uncle and a nephew. Mr. Spencer was a lifelong resident of Springfield. Surviving are his mother, Delores M. Spencer of Springfield; two grandmothers, Mrs. Lillian Brown and Mrs. Wilma King, both of Springfield; three brothers, Horace Spencer Jr., Gregory W. Spencer and Kevin C. Spencer, all of Springfield; a sister, Deborah A. Williams of Sprinvield; seven aunts; six untles; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be at noon Thursday at James D. Memorial Chapel, with Dr. Rudolph S. Shoultz officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
