Charlie Louis Wren, 36 years of age, of Somerset, Kentucky, departed this life peacefully in his sleep, on Saturday, May 28th, 2011.

Charlie was born on February 14th, 1975, son of Connie Harrison Wren and Nathan Ray Wren of Crab Orchard, Kentucky. Charlie was a member of Crab Orchard Baptist Church, and had been attending Eubank Baptist Church with his wife, Rebecca Ann Moore Wren , whom he married on May 8th, 2009.

Charlie was a Lincoln County High Graduate 1993, and Berea College Graduate 1997. He was employed by Woodson Bend Resort in Bronston, Kentucky. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and he enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with friends and family. Charlie was an amazing Husband, Daddy, Son, Brother , Uncle and Friend and we are all so Thankful to God for allowing us to share what seemed like just a few moments in time with him.

Charlie was survived by his parents, Connie Wren and Nathan Ray Wren; his loving wife, Rebecca Wren; one daughter, Kasey Rae Wren; one son, Austin Taylor Wren; two step-children, Brittni Ann (and Petey Wooldridge) Yadon and Andrew Thomas Yadon; one sister, Jessica Diane (and Brian) Gibbons & niece, Faith Rae Wren Bryant & nephew, Tristan John Gibbons; sister-in laws, Karen (and John) Franklin & nieces, Bailee, Haylee, and Rebekah Franklin & nephew, Joshua Vanhook, Connie (and Martin) Hess & niece Mataya Rose & nephews Keeson Anthony and Tristan David; brother-in law, Johnny Moore & nephew, Brighton Moore; mother and father In-law, Jimmy (and Barbara) Moore; special friends, Travis (and Marla) Blair, Chester (and Angela) Copeland, Robert (and Gayle) Adams, Greg Dwyer and Tim Roundtree; and a host of other family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by his grand-parents, Charlie Lovell (and Zola Marie Todd) Wren, and Dewey (and Nannie) Harrison.

Visitations were held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31st, 2011 at the Pulaski Funeral Home in Somerset, Kentucky.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 1st, 2011 in the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Shelby Reynolds officiating.

Burial followed in the Friendship Cemetery in Lincoln County, Kentucky.
