OBIT: 13 Aug 1921 Mrs. B. K. Blevins died Friday at the home of her daughter Mrs. J. B. Cross, 78 years of age. Funeral at M. E. Church, Rev Thomas. Interment Decatur Cemetery. M. S. Genoe funeral director. For many years, kept the Blevins Hotel. Luther Blevins of Chattanooga, Mr. & Mrs. P. Holmon of Birchwood, & T.P. Smith and family attended funeral Saturday. Her father was Henson W Thomas (1814-1843) and mother was Lucretia F Blevins (1813-1859) The reason the headstone shows as Lillard is because her mother married a Lillard after she was married to Mr. Thomas.
