It is with great sadness that the family of Kay Goggins announces her passing after a long, fighting battle against complications from heart surgery. Kay was born in Stillwater, MN moving to Tucson at the age of 17 to attend and graduate from St. Mary's School of Nursing.
Kay is survived by her devoted children: daughters, Maureen Goggins and Michelle (Jeff) Cohen and son, Michael Goggins. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tyler and Carson Cohen and her sister, Carol (Mike) Borovsky; nieces and nephews also survive.
Viewing will be held Monday, May 2, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway, with the Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. A joyous Mass celebrating her life will be offered at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 300 N. Tanque Verde Loop Rd. Burial will follow in Our Lady of the Desert Cemetery. Kay is loved by all the people whose lives she touched and now is in the presence of the Lord.
