Deceased Name: Catherine D. McCue, nurse
Catherine D. (Johnson) McCue, 77, of Weymouth, and Dennis, died Feb. 16, 2008 at home.
Mrs. McCue was born in Quincy and trained as a nurse at Quincy City Hospital. In her later years, she maintained the most attractive flower garden on Cape Cod and invested herself fully in the care and growth of her grandchildren.
She was married to George J. McCue for 53 years.
She leaves her children, Philip McCue married to Peggie of Hingham, Jeff McCue married to Mary-Ann of Weymouth, and Kevin McCue married to Deirdre of Weymouth.
She was the grandmother of 12 grandchildren.
Mrs. McCue was the daughter of the late James F. Moodie and Mildred (Walsh) Moodie.
She leaves a brother, William F. Johnson of Glendale, AZ and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. McCue was the sister of the late John Johnson and Frederic Johnson, and Mildred T. Moodie.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church in South Weymouth, Wednesday at 10 a.m.
Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery, South Weymouth.
