THOMASVILLE-October 1-Dewitt Rothrock, of Rt.3, died early this morning in a Winston-Salem hospital at the age of 46 years. His death came as a shock to many friends here, where Mr. Rothrock had been employed as a plumber for the past 12 years by the Thomasville Chair Company. In addition to Mr. Rothrock's wife, he is survived by three sons, Clifton, Linville and Clyde, of the home and four daughters; Miss Vaden, Hazel and Blanche, all of the home place and Mrs. Jack Jones of Rt.3. Other survivors are the mother, Mrs. Fanny Rothrock, three brothers, Ernest, Arlie, and Robert Rothrock and one sister, Mrs. Martha Rothrock of Rt.3. Funeral services will be held at the Fair Grove church Tuesday at 4 pm with Rev. John Cline in Charge, assisted by Rev. P.E.Parker of Thomasville. Interment will take place in the Fair Grove cemetery.
