Ward, SC - Service for Corinne Grace Black, 91, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Good Hope Lutheran Church with the Rev. William Neuman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel, is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Good Hope Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund, 927 Spann Road, Ward, SC 29166.
Ms. Black passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Born in Saluda County, she was the last surviving child of the late Ernest and Amanda Cullum Black. She was an active member of Good Hope Lutheran Church and she retired after giving 28 years of service to Riegel Textile Corporation in Johnston, SC.
Surviving are nieces and nephews, Dale Black Bartley of Edgefield, Betty Ann Black Schumpert, Robert David Black and William Joel Black, all of Ward, and many other cousins, nieces and nephews. Barr-Price.com (803)532-4411
