Donald Loren Carey 92, of Kokomo, passed away at 4:19pm Monday, February 15, 2010 at Howard Regional Health Systems. Donald was born September 21, 1917 to the late Frank and Emma Carey in Walton, IN. His marriage to the former Lillian Lowe who survives was on July 8, 1994 in Kokomo. Surviving are his wife Lillian Carey, children; Romona Sue Kraus, Noblesville, Philip Loren Carey, Galveston, Patricia Kay Vest, of O’Fallon, ILL, Dixie Gay Freeman, Beech Grove, Kathleen Copp, Sharpsville, step-children; Nancy Burton, Carolyn Browning, James, John, Donald, and Timothy Lowe, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, eighteen step-grandchildren, forty-two step-great-grandchildren, twenty step-great-great-grandchildren, along with several neices and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons; Ronald Lee Carey, and Dennis Carey, two sisters and three brothers, a step-daughter Marilyn Pemberton, and step-son John York
Entombment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
