SWAINSBORO - Dot McGee Rich, 51, died Sept. 6 at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. She was a native of Emanuel County, a homemaker and a former employee of Crestons Manufacturing Co. She attended Holtons Chapel Advent Christian Church near Soperton. Survivors: her husband, Jack Rich of Swainsboro; a daughter, Leiah Rich of Covena; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jerry Timothy Rich of Swainsboro and Captian Jack Lee Rich, Jr. and Emily Johnson Rich of Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; a sister, Mildred Hooks of Canoochee; and four brothers, Ken, Johnny and Roy McGee, all of Swainsboro, and TeddyMcGee of Covena. Visitation: 6-9 p.m. Today at Peebles-Curry-Durden Mortuary. Funeral: 4 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, burial in Swainsboro City Cemetery.
