Funeral services for Charles Ellac Chamblee of the Oakland Community were held Dec. 17 at the Bethany Baptist Church with burial in the Bethany Cemetery. He was born in Itawamba County and had lived there all his life. He was 75. He died Dec. 16, 1958 at his home.
He is survived by two sisters, Miss Littie Chamblee of Oakland and Mrs. Pearl Gregory of Fulton; a number of nieces and nephews.
