Abel was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Susie Baca; brother, Dave Baca; and uncle, Raymond Garcia. He is survived by his children, Cathy (Gabe) Martinez, Yvonne (Ernie) Baca and Steven (Connie) Baca, all of Pueblo, Anthony Baca and Thom Baca both of Reno, Nevada; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his ex-wife, Evelyn Armenta. Also survived by brother, Fred Baca; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, all of his friends at the farm and his special friend, Mary Aguirres. Abel retired from the CF&I after 33 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and all church festivals. He will be remembered as a kind and generous man, who was always available to help anyone in need and was loved by all those who knew him.
