Goodwin was survived by his wife, Celia; son, Robert Goodwin; daughters, Mary Cornwell, Penny Earnest, JoAnn Patterson, Linda Smith and Carrie Williams, 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services at Friendship Baptist Curch. Burial in Lake Trafford Cemetery. Arrangements by Brister Funeral Home. (News-Press, 1/14/94)
