Caroline is a daughter of Nelson Newton & Anna Alice [Bausch] Wilcox. She is also a granddaughter of the 1st white settlers in Waupun, Seymour Wlicox.
Caroline married Ralph Jay Andruss on 27 Dec 1900. Two children, George Lansford Andruss & Ira Wilcox Andruss, came of this joining. George was but 6yrs and Ira only 5yrs when they lost their loving mother. She became quite ill after the birth of Ira but suffered quietly and with great diginity until God took her in his hands. Her years of suffering from heart disease and dropsy did not dissuade her love of family.
She is survived by her husband, 2 sons, her parents as well as 2 sisters; Mrs Geo. Morgridge of DeKalb and Mrs Fred Dodge of Rockland. Her brother Earl Wilcox of Waupun also misses her passing over.
