CARL LEROY KREIS Carl L. Kreis, 78, died on Sunday, January 16, 2011 at the VA Medical Center in Miami, FL surrounded by his wife, Hobbit; daughter, Jennifer, and close friends. He was born October 3, 1932 in Adamsville, OH. Carl was a retired industrial mold maker. He collected Lincoln memorabilia, antique VWs, scales, and was a long-time member and former president of The Miami Mineralogical and Lapidary Guild; and member of the Ft. Lauderdale Center for Spiritual Living. Loving husband to Hobbit Forrest; brother to Doris Limon of Marblehead, OH and Mary Sayles of Fairview Park, OH; father to Carla Kreis (Kevin Caulfield), of St. Croix, V.I., Nikki Kreis (Mark) of Cypress, CA, Tamara Black, of Mulberry, FL, Jennifer Beckett (Mike Robertson), of West Palm Beach, FL, Jeffrey Kreis of Lake City, FL and Brian Kreis of Mulberry; father-in-law to Diana Kreis of Key Largo; grandfather to Jason Kreis of Key Largo, Robert Kreis of North FL, Devin Black of Mulberry and Everett Robertson of West Palm Beach; uncle to Kevin Kreis of Palmdale, CA, Kim Feaster (Michael) of Menifee, CA and Cheryl Link (Elton) of Corona, CA; cousin to Doug, Diane, Darla and Debbie of Zanesville, OH; uncle to Richard, Cheryl, Kathy, Carol and Nancy of Cleveland, OH; and uncle to Dale and David of Lorraine, OH. Carl was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ethel Kreis, a brother, William Dale Kreis, a son, David Kreis, an aunt and uncle, Marjorie and Glen Bowden; an aunt, Treasure Kreis, an uncle, Robert "Bob" Kreis, and a cousin, Danny Kreis.
