Ruth M. Furbush 1924 ~ 2010
Ruth, 86, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2010, in Bountiful, Utah. Born March 12, 1924 in Framingham, Massachusetts. She married her husband Ray in 1948.
Ruth worked as a pharmacist, was an accomplished roller skater, skier, organist and member of the Hammond Organ Club.
From 1979 through 2003, Ray and Ruth shared their retirement years in Gilford New Hampshire, traveling often skiing at Gunstock Mountain, swimming and boating on Lake Winnipesauke.
In 2003 they moved to Steamboat Springs, Colorado to live with their daughter and her family where they enjoyed skiing and the hot springs pools.
In December 2009 Ray and Ruth moved into an assisted living facility near their son Ray's home in North Salt Lake, Utah.
Ruth is survived by her husband Raymond C. Furbush, her children Raymond C. Furbush, Jr., Diane Furbush Rose (Carl) and Russell Furbush of Fairfax, Virginia, five grandchildren, Audra Furbush Davis (Grant), Lindsey Rose and Jennifer Rose, Lynette Gallagher, John Wagers, 2 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
