Juanita Elizabeth Hambrick was born in Vaiden, Mississippi. She married Alf Trotter Collins of Winona, MS (05/22/1913 - 01/24/1964) on 03/11/1953 and continued to live in Vaiden. They had 1 son, Ronnie Lee Collins. She became a resident of Winona Manor Nursing Home (Montgomery County, Mississippi) in 1998. After surgery on June 13, 2002, she did not recover and passed away on July 1, 2002 at the Greenwood Leflore Hospital in Greenwood, Mississippi. She was 81 years, 8 months, and 19 days old at her death.

She was the daughter of John Cleveland (04/23/1886 – 02/02/1951) and Exyah Lee Bond Hambrick (04/02/1884 – 01/07/1955), who were originally from Attala County, and moved to Vaiden in the early 1900s. The Hambrick children included: Harvey O'Neal (07/04/1907 – 08/06/1928), Claude (10/15/1908 – 07/20/1915), who died before Juanita was born, Louise (03/02/1915 – 12/18/1979), and Juanita.

John Cleveland Hambrick owned Hambrick's Blacksmith Shop in Vaiden, MS for many years and Exyah Lee Bond Hambrick was a homemaker.

On 09/12/1969, she married Roy Julius Rhine (06/30/1914 - 02/04/1986), and continued to live in Vaiden. She was the step-mother of Dewie "Buddy" Ladell Rhine, Martha "Marty" Rhine (Holly), Reba Sue Rhine (Carwile), Franklin "Frank" Lavelle Rhine, and had many step-grandchildren.

Mother was the guiding light in my life, and was always helping others in any way she could. During her life, she worked at the Chenille Plant in Winona, as a homemaker in Vaiden, as a teller at the Vaiden Bank, at Big Star Grocery in Winona as a checker, as a teacher's assistant at North Vaiden Public School, and as a Nurse's Assistant (LPN) at Winona Manor in Winona, and was affectionately known by her co-workers as "HECK FIRE." During the last years of her life, she loved and enjoyed her two grandchildren, Cody Ryan Collins and Sean Eric Collins, with all her heart and loved and supported her son, Ronnie Lee Collins, through 47 wonderful years. Her lasting and unfaltering love for her "boys" will live for eternity. On July 1, 2002, God had a better place for her to go, and Jesus took her to be with Him. Mom and Grandmama, we love you and miss you, and want to thank you for everything that is important in our lives. We live with the knowledge that we will see you again one day.

"Oh, the sunshine told the bluebird,
And the bluebird told the brook,
That the dandelions were peeping
From the woodland's sheltered nook.

Then the brook was blithe and happy,
And it babbled all the way,
As it ran to tell the river
Of the coming of the May.

Soon the river told the meadow,
And the meadow told the bee,
That the tender buds were swelling
On the old horse-chestnut tree.

And the bee shook off its torpor,
And it spread each gauzy wing,
As it flew to tell the flowers
Of the coming of the spring
."
