She married first to Mr. Marshall by whom she had at least 3 children: Nannie, Albert & Theodore. She married second to Thomas L. Harris by whom she had at least 5 more children: Mertie B., Fenton T., Lillie May , Eddie E. and Ernest. The 1880 census in Dallas, Dallas, Texas records Paulina [listed here as Belina] and her husband, Thomas, with 3 Marshall step children, 3 Harris children by his first marriage [Nannie E., E. Jane, and Charles L.] and then the 5 Harris children they had together. The death certificate for her daughter, Lillie May, records her father's name as H. A. Harris; this is probably incorrect and the informant, Helen Rice Wicker, didn't actually know her grandfather's name.
