Doyle Allen Owen
Doyle Allen Owen, 67, of Spring, TX, passed away September 9, 2010 after a brave battle with cancer. He was born May 9, 1943 in Texarkana, TX to the late Kenneth Allen and Marie Atchley Owen. Doyle is survived by his daughter Cynthia Owen, son Christopher Owen, grandson Van Ross, sisters Rosemary Owen, Jan and husband Robert Horkavy. Doyle was very dedicated to his job retiring after 40+ years of service from Union Pacific Railroad. He loved sports, particularly baseball and football. He enjoyed traveling and admiring the beauty of nature. Doyle was a caring and compassionate man and would help anyone he could. He will be greatly missed. A celebration of Doyle's life is set for 7:00 P.M., Friday, September 17, 2010 in the Chapel at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home. The Family would like to extend a special Thank You to the Physicians and staff at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and Memorial Hermann Hospice.
