He was a native of Gaston County, born Feb. 2, 1952, to the late Thomas Newman and Joyce Parlier Adair.
Keith was of the Baptist Faith.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Lee Adair.
Survivors include his mom, Mary Ann Adair; a son, Tim Adair; family friend and caregiver, Amy Coxey; brothers, Tommy Edward Adair, Rob Bazzle and wife Lakita; sisters, Angela Epley and husband Ron, Allison Bazzle; nieces and nephews, Cortni Bazzle, Leah Adair, Chris Adair and Kyle Epley; aunts, Ruth Hill and Dot Parlier.
Keith had a loving family and loved each one dearly.
The family will receive friends prior to and after the service at the home of son, Tim Adair, 1407 Congress St., Gastonia.
A visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home.
Interment will follow immediately at Armstrong Cemetery.
