Mrs. Sarah E. Anderson, a resident of St. Jacob until eight years ago, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edward T. Miller, near Lawton, Okla, at 1 O'clock Wednesday morning from injuries sustained in a fall
The body arrived in St. Jacob Friday and was taken to the home of Rufus Pike. The funeral services were conducted at the M.E. church at St. Jacob by Rev. M.D. Sweeney, pastor of the Methodist church at Johnson City, and interment made in the Augustaa Cemetery
Mrs. Anderson is the widow of the late J.W. Anderson, who died at St. Jacob many years ago. He was a prominent farmer and was known throughout the county.
For the last eight years, Mrs. Anderson has made her home with her daughter in Lawton, Okla. Mrs. Anderson is a native of Madison county. She was born on a farm near Marine and lived in St. Jacob and vicinity practically all her life. Several years were spent at Lebanon while the children were attending McKendree college.
She is survived by four children: Robert Anderson and Mrs. Rufus Pike of St. Jacob and Mrs. E. T. Miller and William Anderson of Lawton, Okla. There are also ten grandchildren surviving
