ALLEN - Claude E Allen, 82, South Montrose, Pa died Thursday evening at the Medical Arts Hospital, Montrose,Pa. He is survived by, his wife, Hannah A Allen, South Montrose; two daughters, Mrs George (Marian) Greene, South Montrose and Mrs Evelyn Stockholm, West Reading, Pa; two sons, L Millard Allen, South Montrose, and Harrison Allen, Montrose, a stepson Floyd Crawford, Erie; 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren. He was the owner of the Allen Manufacturing Co, South Montrose until his retirement. He was a member of the South Montrose Community Church and the Susquehanna Grange No 74. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 pm from the Bush Funeral Home, South Montrose, with the Rev William Davies, officiating. Interment will be in South Montrose. Friends may call this afternoon and evening at the funeral home.
