Grace Bernard Caton, 93, formerly of the 1100 block of Santeetlah Ave., a retired office clerk, died Nov. 10, 1993, in Norfolk.
She was born in Oriental, N.C., and worked for the Campbell Photo Center. She was the widow of Edward Theopolis Caton Jr. and was a member of Ghent United Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late Thornton Stith Bernard Sr. and Judith Ella Spence Bernard.
She is survived by two nieces, Betty Bernard Myers of Virginia Beach and Judith Bernard Shirley of Chesapeake; and one nephew, Robert Lee Nicholas Sr. of Norfolk.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Magnolia Cemetery, Norfolk, conducted by the Rev. Paul D. Moore. The family will receive friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Evan L. Shirley. Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner's Crippled Children's Hospital.
