He died at his home after suffering a heart attack.
He married Clara Neimeyer in 1928 at Olney, Texas. He moved to Olney in 1907 and moved to Fort Worth in 1942. He moved to Mesquite two years ago. He was a night watchman.
Survived by his wife; two brothers - Walter Skidmore of Mesquite and Bert Skidmore of Cameron, LA; one sister - Mr. Annie May Allen of Olney.
