IRMA CHAMBERS. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of the Brusie Funeral Home for Irma Irene Chambers, 79, of Speedway Avenue. Mrs. Chambers died Saturday at a local hospital.

Born June 29, 1898, in Chico to pioneer parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Cleveland, she received her education in Chico schools. She married John Chambers Dec. 13, 1922, and farmed here with her husband for many years.

Survivors include her husband, John of Chico; two sons, Jack W. and Don R., both of Chico; a sister, Mrs. Georgie Webb of San Bernardino, and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Rev. Wendell Pew of the First Christian Church will officiate at the service. Interment will follow at Glen Oaks Memorial Park, Garden of Peace.
