Lexington - Funeral service for Margaret Oswald Aldridge, 98, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 25, 2010, at St. Stephen""'s Lutheran Church, where she was a member, with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 24, 2010, at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Mrs. Aldridge was born February 17, 1912, in Lexington, South Carolina, and passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2010, in Bel Air, Maryland. She was a daughter of the late Karl F. and Ruth Graham Oswald. Mrs. Aldridge retired from her position of administrative officer in the Naval Investigative Service Office in Charleston in 1980 and returned to her home in Lexington at that time. Mrs. Aldridge is survived by her daughters, Lynn Schachter Schneider of Brooklyn, New York, and Karen Aldridge Lamis of Bel Air, Maryland, two grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and her sister, Barbara McCord of Marietta, Georgia.
