OBITUARY:
John J. Nolte, 76, 1626 S. Sixth St., died Thursday at his home. He was a native and lifelong resident of the Richmond area. He retired in 1982 from Wallace Metal Products, where he had worked 42 years. His wife, Ruth, died in June, 1975. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Louise Jeffers and Jane Taylor, both of Richmond; three sons, John E. of Richmond, Gene H. of Orlando, Fla.; and David N. of Indianapolis; 21 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one niece. One brother and one sister are deceased. Funeral service for John J. Nolte will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 10, at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary, with the Rev. John F. Hawkins III, pastor of Faith United Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 9, at the funeral home.
