Marilyn Kay Lowery Cory, 65, of Del City, OK, died at her residence on August 16, 2010. She was born in Muncie, IN on June 19, 1945 the daughter of Paul and Marian Ressler Lowery. She received a B.S. degree from Ball State University in 1967 and later received an ASB Degree in Accounting from ICS. After graduating from Ball State University, Marilyn worked as a Deputy Auditor for the Delaware County Auditor's Office in Muncie, IN. She was married to Donald Cory in December 1968 and the couple moved to San Francisco, CA where she was employed for 20 years as Executive Secretary in the Western Regional Office of Aerofin Corporation, an air conditioning company, home based in Lynchburg, VA. After the death of her husband, Donald, Marilyn retired and moved to Oklahoma City in 1993, and in 2007 she moved to Del City. She is survived by her brother Steven Lowery, niece Elizabeth and nephew Nathan and brother- in-law Ralph Cory. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Donald. Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM, Saturday, October 16, 2010, at Galveston Cemetery, Galveston, IN with Pastor Steve Beutler officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: The Ball State University Foundation, "English Department", P.O. Box 672, Muncie, IN 47308. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 West Main Street, Peru, IN.
