There are numerous records from the Applications for Enrollment in the Five Civilized Tribes, compiled 1898 – 1914 that mentions Lydia Tubb as being a Choctaw Indian descendant. According to these records, her father George Tubb was half Choctaw Indian with the Indian name of Pa-tubbee. However, all applications were rejected.
