Lena ‘Blondie' Baker

Lena "Blondie" BAKER, 76, of 179 Monticello Road, Rochester, passed away at 7 a.m. Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Hospital, Kokomo. Her health was failing the past three months.
Born in Knoxville, Tenn., to John and Bell Dockery Nelson, she was first married to Henry Kiggins, who preceded her in death. She later married Joe Baker, who also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Baker lived in Rochester for 47 years after moving from Knoxville, Tenn. She was retired from Federal Mogul, Leiters Ford.
Survivors include three daughters, Carol and husband Ron Crawford, Kingsland, Ga.,
Sandra Kiggins, and Brenda and husband Nino Pameran, all of Chula Vista, Calif.; two sons, Henry Kiggins, and Tony and wife Penny Kiggins, all of Rochester; 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Her funeral service is 10 a.m. Friday at Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester, with the Rev. Jim Calhoun officiating. Burial is at IOOF Cemetery, Rochester. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to her service Friday at the funeral home.
