Neata was born September 3, 1917 to John William and Annie Lauretta Bosworth in Preston, Idaho.
Preceded in death by her husband, James McDougal, parents and siblings. Survived by her five children: Gloria (Harvey) Hansen, Glenn (Neide) Day, Gwenn (Con) Ellis, Richard (Rose) Smith, Alan (Jayne) Smith, Bob (Ellen) McDougal, Shirley Kearl, Connie (Parley) Briggs Hall; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mom was always a hard worker. She was a good neighbor and a friend to many. She was a good cook. Mom was a beautiful seamstress, and spent her life making beautiful quilts, knitting, and crocheting afghans.
She was a member of the LDS Church and fulfilled many callings. She enjoyed going to the Temple. She also did extraction work for many years. She was loved by all who knew her.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road (1700 West). A viewing will be held on Tuesday at the Funeral Home from 9:00-9:45 a.m.
Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Preston City Cemetery, Preston, Idaho.
