Services for Alta Vista Woman to Be Held on Wednesday
Alta Vista – Mrs. Anna Marie Konst, 81, died at her home here Saturday night following an illness of about 10 days. December 3rd she fell at her home and had been confined to her bed since.
In 1882 she was married to John Bechtel and resided on a farm southeast of Riceville. Two children were born to them, George Bechtel of Alta Vista and Mrs. Lillie Tietjen, also of this place.
Her husband preceded her in death in 1884 and in 1892 she was married to Henry Konst. Since that time she has made her home in Alta Vista. Mr. Konst preceded her in death.
Besides her two children, she is survived on one grandchild, Mrs. Herman Alt, one great grandchild, Joyce Marie Alt, and one brother, Christian Reckner of Norcross, Minnesota.
Funeral services will be held in Zion Lutheran church Wesnesday morning at 10 o'clock with the Rev. K. J. Hodum, pastor, officiating. Burial will be made in the Riceville cemetery.
