Thorbald Thorson, 40, of 516 Sixteenth street, died at 3 o'clock this morning. He was a contracting carpenter.
The funeral services are set for 2 p.m. at Webb's chapel, Saturday. The interment will be in Fairview cemetery.
Mr. Thorson was a widower. His wife died about three years ago. He leaves four children ranging from 16 years downward. They are Melvin, Clifford, Thelma and Sylvia.
His mother and three brothers still are living in Norway, where he was born in March, 1890. He came to America in his fourteenth year and made his way to the West, where he has lived ever since.
Mr. Thorson was a member of Trinity Lutheran church, and the funeral services will be conducted by his pastor, Rev. O. S. Rindahl.
