Of Granite Farms Estates formerly of Media, PA, died September 11, 2010.
Miss Bauer was born in Philadelphia, PA on January 21, 1924 to the late George J. and Agnes Catherine (nee Flynn) Bauer. She received a Bachelor's Degree from Chestnut Hill College and a Master's Degree from Fordham University in New York. She was a 42 year employee with Elwyn, where she began her career as a Psychologist and retired as Director of Academic Affairs. She enjoyed traveling, loved animals and was devoted to her family.
She was the dear sister of Catharine Frey of Hockessin. Also survived by two nieces Betsy Frey and Janet Brennan, and 2 nephews Steven and George Frey, and 5 great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Monday after 9:30 am, in the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle, Chester Heights, PA followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 am. Int. SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Catholic Charities USA, PO Box 17066, Baltimore, MD 21297-1066 or Delco SPCA, 555 Sandy Bank Road, Media, PA 19063.
