"SOLDIERS HOME NOTES"
The membership at Burkett was shocked recently to learn of the death of Mrs. Mamie Downey Brown, for several years employed as bookkeeper at Burkett (Grand Island). Commandant Walt has sent to the bereaved family, at Merna, Neb., a letter of consolation in which he expressed the sympathy of the entire membership with whom, he said, she was always held in the highest esteem.
