Elana Delores Callen-Johnston, 39, of Mountain Park (Cooperton), Oklahoma, died Saturday, August 28, 2010, east of Mountain Park in an automobile accident.

She was born January 5, 1971 in Hobart, Oklahoma. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1989 and from Cameron University in 1993. She was a medical technician, and had worked for Comanche County Memorial Hospital and Abbot Laboratory in Dallas. She married Robert Johnston
February 22, 2003 in Sentinel, Oklahoma.

She loved music and was a member of the Wichita Mountain Blue Grass Band. She was actively involved as a member of the Roosevelt First Baptist Church. Elana was a loving mother and wife.

She is survived by her husband Robert Johnston, two daughters, Abbie Johnston and Mollie Johnston, her parents Ned and Betty Callen of Cooperton, her sister Thesha Bellendir of Mannford, Oklahoma, three nieces Brooke Bellendir, Sarah Bellendir and Samantha Bellendir all of Mannford, Oklahoma and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, and her uncle Leonard "Red" Liles.

Visitation was Monday evening at the Becker Funeral Home in Snyder from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Funeral service were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church, Roosevelt, Oklahoma with Rev. Tim Tutten, Pastor and Doug Henson, Executive Director of S.A.N.E., Oklahoma City officiating.

Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery, south of Cooperton, Kiowa County, Oklahoma under the direction of Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Snyder, Oklahoma.
