Bob was a bombardier with the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. He was involved with the Rhineland, Central Europe and the Ardennes Campaigns. After WWII Bob continued to serve in the Air Force Reserve and retired with the rank of Major.

Bob served as the Program Director of the Chemung County Project for Bail from 1974 to 2004. He retired in that year from the job that he loved. Bob touched the lives of many people from all walks of live. He was much admired and respected in the community and helped countless people over the years. He was a long time friend of Bill W.
