Buried just north of Henry Clay [Jr.] are Lieutenant Colonel R. H. King and Capt. Albert G. Bacon. Captain Bacon was killed in a hand to hand fight with General Nathan Bedford Forrest. The A. G. Bacon Post of the Franklin County G. A. R. was so named to commemorate his name.
