Having actually gone "Missing" on the above date, he was not officially declared by the military as being dead until September 12, 1944.

Terrence served as a First Lieutenant & Pilot on B-25D "Battlin' Biffy" #41-29701, 71st Bomber Squadron, 38th Bomber Group, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

He resided in Cass County, North Dakota prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army Air Corps on May 29, 1941, prior to the war, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed as a Actor and also as Single, without dependents.

Terrence was declared "Missing In Action" when his B-25D was shot down by Japanese Zeros and crashed in New Guinea during the war.

Some records note that Terrence survived the crash and was beheaded for war crimes by the Japanese or locals in New Guinea.

He was awarded the Air Medal and the Purple Heart.
