Aircraft Name: LOS ANGELES CITY LIMITS

389th BG loses two aircraft on this day.
My name is Gregg Gilow, son of Norman Gilow. My father was the original copilot in the Boyd Dout crew. He was on another assignment & did not go on that crew's last mission. Clyde Peters took his place that day.
I wanted to mention that the name of the Dout aircraft was not "Los Angeles City Limits"...it was "Torney". "Los Angeles City Limits" was lost on January 7, 1944 with the pilot Earl Cooper. (MACR 1854)
Don't know if that correction can be made or not for Boyd & his crew that day. Found the graves site for 389th personnel...great job - must be a lot of work to keep up!
