Mrs. Velma Bonner 44 of Heflin died Wednesday at ther residence after a long illness.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 pm at New Harmony Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Huddleston and the Rev. Horace Merrill officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Dryden Funeral Home in charge.
Survivor's include her husband Claudis Bonner, a daughter Mrs. Linda Mei of Brookfield, Ill, a son Wayne Bonner of Ft. McClellan, her father and step mother Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Knighten of Jasper, a brother Laverne Knighten of Tuscon, Ariz., several step sisters and brothers and a grand daughter.
