Rose A. Basgall

LA CROSSE - Rose A. Basgall, 86, died Sept. 21, 1995, at Rush County Memorial Hospital, La Crosse.

She was born July 16, 1909, at Loretta, the daughter of Adam S. and Appolonia Basgall Urban. A lifetime area resident, she was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church at La Crosse, and a past member of St. Michael's Altar Society.

On Nov. 20, 1934, she married Fidelis Basgall at Loretta. He survives.

Other survivors include: three sons, Larry, Topeka, and Kenneth and Leon, both of La Crosse; three daughters, Elvira Scheuermun and Sandra Dixon, both of Ellinwood, and Angela Basgall, La Crosse; two brothers, Sylvester Urban, Hays, and Bonniface "Bonnie" Urban, Denver, Colo.; two sisters. Bridgett Urban, La Crosse, and Regina Basgall, Hays; ten grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren: and one great-grandchild.

Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Janousek Funeral Home, La Crosse. Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Michael's Catholic Church, La Crosse, with Father Eugene Kenny presiding. Burial will be in the La Crosse City Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to the church or the donor's choice in care of the funeral home.
