HARTFORD FARMER DIES, TUESDAY
Heart Attack Fatal to Edison C. Stickney
Edison C. Stickney, Southeast Hartford farmer, died at his home Tuesday, March 24. He had been in rather poor health but was able to be about and was fixing the fire in the basement of his home when the heart attack occurred. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Zuver and Calvin Funeral home with the Rev. Thomas Pollard officiating.
Mr. Stickney was well known in the Hartford area where he has been a farmer for 27 years, having lived on his farm southeast of the village all of that time.
The deceased was born in Berrien county, May 15, 1870, and died at the age of 71.
He leaves his wife, Elizabeth; one daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Lee, Hartford; two sons, Addison and Richard, Hartford; one sister, Mrs. Emma Field, Kalamazoo; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The body of the deceased will be at the Stickney home until Friday.
