She attended the Polo and Freeport high schools each for two years, graduating from the latter in 1910. The following year she spent doing graduate work in the Polo school.
For the next five years she devoted her time in brightening her parents' home with her loving service.
February 9th, 1916, she was united in marriage to Luther Acker, to them being born one son, Russel Keith. She made a true home for her husband and baby and spent her time doing for her dear ones. She always tried to look on the bright side of life even when her returning health seemed impossible.
At the age of 19, she united with the Lutheran church. She loved her church and all its interests. All her life she was a faithful attendant until the last two years, when poor health forced her to be absent many times.
She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, one son Russel Keith, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Deuth, and one brother, Millard Deuth, besides numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at the Lutheran Church, Thursday at 2:00 o'clock, Dr. R. B. Peery officiating, and she was laid to rest in beautiful Fairmont cemetery by her cousins, Fred and Alvin Deuth of Freeport, John and Fred Deuth and Mart Eakle of Forreston.

Thy gentle presence lingers near, In memories sweet, thy voice I hear, The lord hath claimed thee for his own, Yet thou are still my dear Leone. -- Contributed.
