Andrew A. Bender, 59, died suddenly at 2:30 p.m. yesterday in his apartment at the Stratford Hotel, Eighth and Scull Streets. Dr. John L. Groh, city coroner, said death was due to a heart attack. He was a son of the late Hiram and Rebecca (Rank) Bender, and was employed as a laborer at the Frackville Manufacturing Company. He is survived by his wife, Bertha (Wenger) Bender, of the Stratford Hotel; a son John, Cleona; a daughter, Mildred, wife of Russell Geib, Palmyra; four grandchildren; tow brothers, Frank, Lickdale; and Daniel, Lebanon; and two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Adams, and Mrs. Sallie Miller, both of Lebanon.
