Mrs. Emma Emery, 3614 No 16th Street, Omaha, known to a number of residents of this community, passed away at her home and was brought here for interment at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, south of Plattsmouth.
Mrs. Emery, age 82, was widow of J. Edward Emery, for many years an engineer for the Burlington, and a resident south of this city.
Mrs. Emery was born in Keokuk, Ia., March 5, 1875, but has spent the greater part of her life in Nebraska.
She was a member of the National Association of Retired and Veterans Railway Employes chapter No. 31, of Omaha, a member of the Grand International Auxiliary to the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Ak-Sar-Ben chapter of the Eastern Star of Omaha.
