Frank went to a country school near Jonesville, Michigan and to high school in Hillsdale, Michigan. On March 31, 1931 in Defiance, Ohio, Frank married Esther Marie Reppert. He worked most of his life in a machine shop as a tool grinder. Frank died as the result of injuries he sustained in an automobile accident about four miles south and west of his home in Cambria, Michigan.
Frank and Esther had children: Theresa May and Carol Jean.
